As I have mentioned before the Sony Kando event provided me an opportunity to sit down with a number of different photographers and have conversations about photography.  In this video, I had the chance to sit down with Don Smith.  Don has had an exemplary career in photography.  He originally started shooting for Sports Illustrated and then transitioned over to photographing landscapes.

His work is beautiful and during our talk, Don shared how he made the switch to landscape photography as well as moving over to digital.  You Can visit Don’s website to see his work which is very inspiring. Don joined the Sony Artisan group of photographers in 2014. Don resides in the beautiful Monterey Bay area.

Please Enjoy the Video.

Thank You.  Look for more conversations from the Sony Kando event coming soon.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
